Terms governing use of this website and retail financial check engagements with App Development.
Acceptance
By accessing https://app-development.digital or engaging App Development for a retail location financial check, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or book a visit.
Services described
Pages on this site describe professional on-site financial checks for retail locations, including till reconciliation, cash controls, and inventory variance reviews. Descriptions are informational. A binding engagement begins only when both parties confirm scope, visit dates, and fees in writing (email confirmation is sufficient).
Website use
You may browse and contact us for legitimate business enquiries. You may not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt its operation, scrape content for resale, or submit false booking details.
Intellectual property
Site text, layout, and branding belong to App Development or its licensors. You may not copy substantive content for commercial use without permission. Engagement reports delivered to you may be used internally by your organisation; redistribution to the public requires our written consent.
Client responsibilities
You must provide accurate store access information, arrange landlord passes where required, ensure a duty manager is present for safe and till counts, and ensure counted cash and sampled stock remain under your custody policies. Delays caused by missing keys or denied mall access may require rescheduling.
Fees and informational pricing
Published starting prices are guidance only. Confirmed fees appear in the engagement confirmation. Deposits, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, App Development is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use. For paid engagements, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific visit giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Findings in a store report reflect conditions observed during the visit window. We do not guarantee detection of all fraud, theft, or process failures, and reports are not a substitute for statutory audit, legal advice, or employment decisions.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or related engagements, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the site after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms for website use. Active engagements remain on the terms confirmed in writing for that visit unless both parties agree otherwise.
